7th Annual Lucrana Simmental On Property Sale is on Friday 6th July 2018 at 12pm. This year we have a very good offering of:
65 Bulls including 15 Black Simmentals,
5 Top of Drop Lead Heifers,
10 Commercial Females.
About this years sale
The past year has been a great one for Lucrana genetics. With our clients experiencing wonderful commercial and stud sale success. While in the show ring our genetics have also featured, of note was the outstanding achievement of Meldon Park Simmental Stud claiming the Interbreed Champion Bull with a Lucrana sired animal at Beef 2018 in Rockhampton.
At the time of putting this years sale catalogue together the Lucrana stud females have commenced calving under what are the toughest of seasonal conditions, but continue to do an admirable job on their calves. Thus underlining one of the major strengths of the breed being it’s maternal ability.
We are extremely happy with the direction our new sire lines introduced via AI and natural service are taking the herd. This year’s sale bulls are probably the most robust and powerful group we have offered but most importantly they also retain softness. We thoroughly recommend this year’s sale draft to you and look forward to catching up on July 6.
